What makes this product/technology innovative in your industry? – The CRG is the first non-JD receiver, compatible with John Deere GPS systems. Supports all 4 satellite systems and comes with RTK without any unlocks! In addition it includes a JD-Bridge which allows the CRG to enable John Deere displays to autosteer machines from CLAAS, AGCO, CNH and more.
How is this product different from the competition? – The CRG is affordably priced compared to JD receivers and doesn’t require unlock after unlock to reach sub-inch accuracy (RTK). We don’t have any reoccurring fees and best of all, we use standard RTCM corrections rather than proprietary. This means, you can take advantage of state provided CORS Networks to receive the RTCM correction signal at no extra cost. If your state doesn’t have a CORS Network, you can use any base station that outputs standard RTCM corrections.
What are the special features/advantages that would interest an end-user of your innovation? – Affordable RTK with bridge capabilities which allows the CRG to enable John Deere displays to autosteer machines from Claas, AGCO, CNH and more.
How many hours of testing in the field has this product/service received and who were the testers? – Farmers in Europe, Australia, Canada and USA have tested the CRG over the past four seasons. Before product launch, we had roughly 50,000h of testing.
